The following technologies are developed by Clear Lighting specifically for LED flex linear light and collected in ClearTech™.

PinBoost™ patent

The FPCB used as the main current-carrying conductor cannot fully protect SMT components from forces created by incorrect bending or twisting.

Reinforcement components are placed on both sides of the SMD LED to reduce external-force damage to SMT LEDs on the FPCB.

DryWire™ patent

In outdoor or humid environments, wire capillarity can slowly carry water and moisture into electrical equipment, leading to short-circuit damage.

DryWire™ blocks the path of water and moisture through the conducting wire before it enters the light.

V-Optic™ patent

Conventional FPCB flexible light is generally bent against the light surface; horizontal bending has traditionally required compromises in brightness, light-source options or cost.

A unique internal reflection angle and reflective material formulation maximise lumen output with general SMT LEDs and control colour-temperature shift.

Insulfit™ patent

Traditional inserted-pin connectors with glue and heat-shrink waterproofing have shown a high risk of water ingress, especially outdoors.

A mechanical connector compresses a special silicone gasket coated with sealing silicone grease to hermetically seal the light end.

TwinFlex™ patent

FPCB and SMT development expanded function and production efficiency, but the material flexibility also limits the development of flexible linear light.

TwinFlex™ integrates FPCB with copper belt for reinforced mechanical strength, improved heat dissipation, broader connector-pin options and duplex circuit transmission.

C-Mask™ (PVC)

UV and accumulated outdoor dust can damage plastic material lighting products and affect brightness and colour over time.

A seamless water-repellent PVC top surface protects from UV, dirt, corrosion and decay for consistent illumination and longer outdoor service life.

C-Mask™ (Silicone)

Outdoor conditions can cause dust accumulation on plastic lighting surfaces, affecting appearance and light output when not regularly cleaned.

The silicone surface decreases friction and static electricity to protect against dirt and scratches, improving appearance and prolonging lifespan.
